Day 1 :

HURGHADA- ASWAN:

Early in the morning, at 05:00 am, you will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada or Port Ghalib hotels for a private journey to Aswan. The approximately 4-hour drive will lead you to the following key attractions:

1. Phiala Temple:
Constructed to honor the goddess Isis, the Phiala Temple stands as one of the last temples built in the classical Egyptian style. Its construction began around 690 BC, serving as one of the final outposts where the goddess was worshipped.

2. The High Dam:
The Aswan High Dam, located at the northern border between Egypt and Sudan, is a rock-fill dam fed by the River Nile. The reservoir formed by the dam is known as Lake Nasser. The project's construction started in 1960 and concluded in 1968, officially inaugurated in 1971.

3. The Unfinished Obelisk:
Aswan, known for providing ancient Egypt's finest granite, features the Unfinished Obelisk. This massive structure, located in the Northern Quarries, offers insights into the creation of statues, temples, pyramids, and obelisks. The obelisk, nearly 42m long and weighing 1168 tonnes, provides a glimpse into ancient stone-cutting techniques.

As part of your experience, you'll also have the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful sail on the Nile aboard an Egyptian Felucca. After exploring these fascinating sites, you will be returned to your hotel, concluding your enriching journey to Aswan.

Day 2 :

ASWAN-ABU SIMBEL-HURGHADA:

Abu Simbel Temples:
Carved out of the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC, the Abu Simbel Temples are an architectural marvel. Upon arrival, your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide will provide fascinating insights into one of the greatest pharaohs in Egyptian history.

Marvel at the main façade of the Great Temple to Ramesses II, featuring four statues of the pharaoh seated on his throne, symbolizing different stages of his life. Although the temple is theoretically dedicated to Amon-Re Horakhty and Ptah, it is, in practice, a testament to the grandeur of Ramses the Great.

Adjacent to the Great Temple is the smaller temple dedicated to Ramesses' consort, Queen Nefertari. Admire the impressive rock-cut façade depicting the pharaoh and his queen, showcasing intricate details and artistic brilliance.

Return to Aswan:
Re-board the coach at 09:00 for a comfortable return transfer to Aswan. Before departing for Hurghada, indulge in a delicious lunch in Aswan, offering a moment to savor the day's experiences.
