Dedicated to Hathor, goddess of music, joy and love, the temple boasts richly decorated columns and one of the finest astronomical ceilings in Egypt, featuring the famous Dendera Zodiac. Descend into the underground crypts with their enigmatic reliefs, see the sacred birth house (mammisi) and the remains of the once-imposing mud-brick enclosure walls. Your guide will explain the symbolism behind the reliefs and point out hidden details you might otherwise miss.

After your visit, relax in your private vehicle for the return drive to Luxor. You will be dropped back at your hotel or Nile cruise ship.
