Highlights

Day 1: Luxor Exploration Meet at your Hurghada hotel for a 4-hour transfer to Luxor. Explore Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, then board your Nile cruise for lunch. Optional Sound and Light Show or Luxor City tour. Meals: Lunch, Dinner.
Day 2: Wonders of Luxor Discover the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon. Cruise to Edfu, passing through Esna Lock. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 1 :

Hurghada to Luxor Nile Cruise Luxor Sightseeing

A representative from Black Camel Tours will meet you at your hotel in Hurghada and assist you with the transfer to Luxor, which is approximately a 4-hour drive through the eastern desert. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be greeted by an expert Egyptologist Tour Guide, who will take you on a captivating journey back in time on the East Bank of the Nile.

Explore the magnificent Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, immersing yourself in the rich history of these ancient sites. Following the tour, you will be transferred to the Nile cruise boat in Luxor for embarkation and a delightful lunch on board. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner while cruising along the Nile.

As an optional activity, you may choose to experience the enchanting Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple in Luxor. Additionally, there is an optional tour available to explore Luxor City and its vibrant markets.

Day 2 :

Luxor Nile Cruise

Indulge in a delightful breakfast on board your Nile cruise boat in Luxor before embarking on a captivating journey with your Egyptologist Tour Guide to explore the wonders of the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor. Visit the renowned Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir EL Bahari, and the majestic Colossi of Memnon.

After this enriching ancient exploration, you will be transferred back to the Nile cruise in Luxor. Set sail towards Edfu, passing through the Esna Lock, while enjoying a sumptuous dinner and an overnight stay on board.

Day 3 :

Tours to Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Start your day with a delicious breakfast on board the Nile cruise boat, followed by a guided visit to the impressive Horus Temple at Edfu. After the exploration, return to the cruise and set sail for Kom Ombo, enjoying a scrumptious lunch on board.

Upon reaching Kom Ombo, your knowledgeable Egyptologist Tour Guide will lead you to the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Following this fascinating visit, continue your cruise towards Aswan, where you will have dinner and spend the night on board the Nile cruise boat.

Day 4 :

Abu Simbel from Aswan Nile

Embark on an early adventure, with a pick-up from your Aswan hotel at 03:15, for a comfortable journey in an air-conditioned vehicle to the awe-inspiring temples of Abu Simbel, strategically timed to avoid the heat of the day. These temples were masterfully carved into the mountainside during the reign of Pharaoh Ramesses II in the 13th century BC and were relocated in 1968 to an artificial hill above the Aswan High Dam reservoir.

As you relax on the 3-hour drive through the desert, your knowledgeable Egyptologist guide will share captivating stories about one of the most remarkable and whimsical pharaohs in Egyptian history. Upon arrival, marvel at the main façade of the Great Temple to Ramesses II, featuring four statues of the pharaoh seated on his throne, depicting his advancing age. While the temple is theoretically dedicated to Amon-Re Horakhty and Ptah, it was primarily constructed to glorify Ramses the Great.

Explore the smaller temple dedicated to Ramesses' consort, Queen Nefertari, located adjacent to the Great Temple. Admire the impressive rock-cut façade depicting the pharaoh and his queen. At 09:00, re-board the coach for a comfortable return transfer to Aswan before the desert heat peaks.

Day 5 :

Aswan Nile Cruise to Hurghada Red Sea

Following the morning exploration, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise boat in Aswan for embarkation, where a delicious lunch awaits. Later in the day, bid farewell to Aswan as you transfer back to Hurghada by road, with the journey taking approximately 4 hours.
